Three-Legged Soi Dog Snuggle Bug Salina Is Living ..

Three-legged soi dog snuggle bug Salina is living her #furrytailending life in the big city!

Salina arrived at our shelter in November 2019 at the tender age of two months. She’d been hit by a car, and both of her hind legs were injured. Our vets were able to save her right hind leg, but her left was damaged beyond repair and had to be amputated. Many months of physiotherapy followed.

Despite a tough start to life, Salina was always a joyful pup with a healthy curiosity for the world around her. She loved our off-lead area in particular and raced around like there was no tomorrow. You could miss this girl in a blink as she whizzed by!

It took Salina nearly two years, but she finally captured the hearts of a lovely couple from Bangkok who came across her profile on our Facebook page and knew straight away that she was the one. “We didn’t hesitate to get in touch about this girl,” they said.

Salina joined them in October in their large, pet-friendly condominium, complete with a shared garden and a big public park nearby. She is their only dog, and being an only child means she’s spoiled like a princess! 👑 She has a special doggie stroller for use in the elevator and on long walks, but otherwise she prefers the freedom of zooming around on three legs, as she always has done.

We love hearing about our dogs being spoiled by their forever family. After everything they’ve been through, street dogs like Salina truly deserve the very best.

To give a rescued dog like Salina a chance, please visit https://www.soidog.org/adopt-a-dog. They can be adopted within Thailand as well as in Canada and across Europe, including the UK.
