Thinking Of Doing Something Extraordinary This New..

Thinking of doing something extraordinary this new year? 🤩

How about planning a volunteer trip to Soi Dog Foundation in 2022. It could be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life. Visit our website to learn more: https://www.soidog.org/volunteer

We also asked a few of our volunteers who have been with us over the past few weeks what their experience had been like travelling to Thailand and volunteering at our shelter in Phuket.

Mandy, who’s from Germany 🇩🇪 shared her experience with us below:

‘I have been following the amazing work of the Soi Dog Foundation for more than 3 years on Instagram and always had in my mind that someday I would also like to become a volunteer there! I was finally able to make that wish come true and am so happy to be here and be a little part of this great project! [I] was amazed from day one of how well organized everything is and how warmly and openly you are welcomed and treated as a volunteer.

For me the best part is spending quality time with each dog in the off-leash areas where you can run, play, brush or cuddle with the dogs…I also love to spend time with the cats during the lunch break. They all come to you for cuddles and lay in your lap. It’s really calming and a nice recharge between the [dog] walks.

If you love spending time with cats and dogs, and are motivated to walk a lot I would definitely recommend to come to Soi Dog to volunteer! So far it has been one of my favourite experiences during my 2 months of travelling in Thailand and I can already see myself coming back again at some point.”

You can be a part of this amazing experience too. Just visit our website to start planning your unforgettable volunteering trip today: https://www.soidog.org/volunteer
