An NGO had in Dec 15, 2009 rescued fogs from the Klang Pound to be sent to a sanctuary in Pahang. However, since there was no nearby veterinary clinics, only healthy dogs were sent over. A vet went to the pound and accessed the dogs. One of the dogs, that we eventually names Cinderella, wanted to be rescued so badly but could not go because she had a serious injury to her face. When we heard about her, our hearts broke. We took Cinderella as well as all the puppies there, as they too could not go. By Feb 10, 2010 Cinderella was completely healed snd was adopted. She is still very happy with her family which includes two more doggos also adopted from us.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
