In late 2019, Lemorro and her friend Livana were found abandoned on a tiny island with no access to food or water and no one living there. It was clear that someone had purposely and heartlessly dumped them there.

The island is 85 kilometres away from Phuket, where our shelter is located, and our animal rescue team had to travel by boat and truck for hours to collect them and bring them to safety. A year later, Livana was adopted to Canada. After some extra support to help her overcome her ordeal, Lemorro is finally ready for her turn!

Now that she knows she’s safe, sweet Lemorro explores the world around her with joy and curiosity. Strolling around the lake and lazing in the sun are the highlights of her day.
