Bella Mia Arrived At Soi Dog When She Was Four Mon..

Bella Mia arrived at Soi Dog when she was four months old. Born on the streets, every day up until her rescue was a struggle to find food and a safe place to rest her head. One day, her luck ran out when she was hit by a car and left unable to walk.

A kind local who lived nearby found Bella Mia and called us for help. Our rescue team collected this little pup and brought her to the shelter where she was given the treatment she needed to make a full recovery.

A year later, Bella Mia was chosen by BnR’s Rock n’ Rescue, one of our fantastic partner rescues in the USA, and she travelled there just before the CDC import ban took effect on July 14th. She was adopted shortly after arriving, and here’s what her forever mum has to say:

“Bella is doing excellent with us, she continues to love being outside, off leash and is a very FAST runner!

She is a smart dog and picks up on things very quickly. She knows the commands; “Sit, give paw, stay, leave it, Go out, go for a ride, Up, down, come, or come here.” She knows; “No, good girl, do you want some?, or do you want some food?, are you hungry?, get your water, cookie, Daddy’s home,“ and things like that. When I tell her to, “Go get Daddy!”, she runs into the bedroom, jumps up on the bed & licks his whole face, in order to wake him up for work in the morning. It’s a cute routine that we like to do in the morning. She also licks his whole face when he returns home from work.

Bella is delightful and well loved in our house! She likes to roll over on her back and put her feet up in the air and get belly rubs. She also loves the woods and the wilderness and exploring both. She doesn’t mind the rain. She loves to go in the pond and in the water and doesn’t mind having a bath afterwards when we get home.

She is a very healthy & active dog, but will take a short nap with me occasionally. She never sleeps alone at night. It is always with us, in our bed. She is spoiled with love and was made one of us right away. She has never been interested in any dog beds. She likes to be right with us up on the couch or otherwise. She’s such a sweet Love!” ❤
