Our Animal Rescue Officers Found Bambala Trying To..

Our animal rescue officers found Bambala trying to survive under some concrete pillars last year. He was weak, sick and only two-and-a-half months old at the time, and it’s likely that he wouldn’t have made it much longer.
Bambala was rushed to Soi Dog and spent weeks in the intensive care unit of our dog hospital. Fortunately, he made a full recovery and grew into a sweet but tentative little boy who took time to adjust to new situations.
Almost a year later, Lynne from our amazing partner rescue Furever Furbaby Rescue in Ontario chose Bamabala to travel to Canada to start his #furrytailending life. Lynne is experienced with our shyer dogs and gave Bambala and his foster family all the support they needed to help him adjust to his new world. In the beginning, Lynne said: “Bambala was afraid of all that was new to him as he had only lived in a shelter since he was a puppy, but with time and patience Bambala flourished into a happy loving dog. As a rescue dog, Bambala was looking for someone with understanding of his initial fears and patience to give him the time he needs. For example, boat rides, willingly jumping into a truck for rides, swimming at the lake, going camping etc… This didn’t mean he wouldn’t like doing those things, it will come with time and assurance that it’s all good and fun.”
Not long after, we received another update from Lynne, this time with the best news: Bambala had been whisked away to a forever home with a family who love him to pieces!
Thank you to Lynne and her amazing team for helping Bambala on his journey to the perfect home. And, as always, thank you to our supporters. You help dogs like Bambala get the second chance they deserve.❤🏠
