We have deleted the post about Nicole Thomas rescuing the surviving dog because someone who had gone with her wants her name mentioned as well. She has apparently been bombarding Nicole with messages and mow bombarding us with messsges as well. She says we are trying to use this to gain leeverage. MDDB has been around since 2008 and we have carried out countless rescues. All of you will know that we never highlight ourselves, our volunteers or our rescuers. This is because rescuing is a calling and it is all about the animals rescued as opposed to the people doing it. There is this sick trend in animal rescue whereby individuals hunger for credit and recognition. Some build up their personal popularity and this has led to many disasters such as scamming. We have had this happen before and recently as well. It is truly a very repugnant turn of events.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
