Dear all,

we think we should tell you this. MDDB does not know how to spin sad stories nor create dramatics. We are not self-sacrificing angels nor anywhere near to becoming such. We don’t have personal tales of tragedies nor is our rescuing activities depriving us of anything other than our time – which we are more than willing to contribute. We do not promote ourselves on this page because we strongly believe our dogs are more important than us. So please support us in spite of our lack of drama and sad tales. We strive to keep costs low with our main expenses being our vet bills. We also pledge to practise and promote direct transactions to our vet clinics and vendors to be transparent and accountable. So please support us as albeit sans of sad tales- we really have with us disabled and special dogs that we work hard to keep alive. Please help us help them. We know so much of wrong has happened and is happening with rescue groups. But MDDB will never resort to dishonesty and dirty tactics for a fistful of RM. We promise to be true, honest and clean – this we pledge in the name of our doggos.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
