Three legs in the air, mouth ajar, puppy dog eyes engaged – these are the tell-tale signs that our 🌟Dog of the Week🌟 Polaris is after some chest and belly rubs!

Can you believe that this handsome boy has been at the Soi Dog shelter for over five years? It’s true! He arrived back in October 2016 with a leg so severely fractured that it had to be amputated. He adapted well, as tripaws naturally do, and it wasn’t long before he was endearing himself to volunteers and staff, like his carer here who just can’t resist giving him affection and fuss whenever he asks for it.

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals. Soi Dog also has a treatment facility in Bangkok and responds to crisis situations throughout Thailand.
