In celebration of National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week, we’d like to share Samsy’s #furrytailending story.🏠

Samsy came into our care in September last year and was lucky enough to be chosen by our new partner rescue Paws For Cause Animal Rescue just seven months later. Located in Ottawa, the rescue has recently completed their registration as a non-profit and are looking forward to welcoming many more soi dogs in the future.

After Samsy landed on Canadian soil in May, Paws For Cause began to screen potential adopters to help her find her forever family. We’re so thrilled to say that she’s now been adopted by a wonderful family and their cat Pico! Samsy is now enjoying sunset walks and weekend hikes and living every moment in happiness as she deserves.🧡
