Today, we’d like to introduce you to a very special lady who’s looking for a home. Her name is Macaw: https://www.soidog.org/adopt/macaw-2611

When Macaw lived on the streets, she was something of a local celebrity. Her friendly nature and gentle temperament endeared the community to her, and they ensured she was always well fed and cared for. They also alerted us when she was hit by a motorbike and badly injured last year.

Poor Macaw’s injuries were so severe it took multiple surgeries and months of physiotherapy for her to even be able to stand again. Her front left leg was amputated, and the joints in her right hind leg were damaged, so she’s learnt to walk on just two of her three legs! Macaw has an incredibly strong spirit, and that’s what makes her so special.
