Hungry Street Dogs Eat Breakfast In Serbia

Volunteer Ivica Milisavljevic makes his rounds feeding homeless animals each day before work. After losing some of his international supporters who fell off over the years due to health or financial problems, this Serbia volunteer has turned to Harmony Fund to feed the animals.

We are trying our very, very best to help him and all the others to provide meals for thousands of animals each day. Because we are carrying a bigger project load than the number of incoming donations, it appears that Ivica will have to skip feeding the dogs and cats two days this month. He’s not alone. We’re passing out all the donations that come through the door, but coming up short with about 90% of what we would normally provide to each rescue squad. And while 10% of a funding drop might not sound like a lot, it does lead to some hungry days.

We are trying to find solutions. We do have a special offer from one beautiful couple who have decided to offer match donations of up to $6,000 total this month. So, if anyone would like to donate to help, your gift will be doubled!
