Since the A Pet’s Journal scandal unfolded, other rescue groups including MDDB has been badly affected. Those behind A Pet’s Journal are responsible for dumping genuine rescue groups into a dark pit due to their greed and scheming ways. So far only FFF has spoken up openly and we are doing it now. We hope A Pet’s Journal people will be duly punished for using dogs to prey on the kindness and generosity of animal lovers. We implore you to not punish the rest of us due to what these nasty people have done. We have vet bills to pay, rental to pay, utilities to pay, wages to pay as well as feed our dogs. If we too are being treated as criminals, our operations and our dogs will be in a limbo. There are still scammers and cheats in animal rescue. We are confident that they too will be exposed soon. And we also ask of you to please not punish others for what these cheats have done. Thank you.

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
