Update on Navin: Navin has been admitted at Gasing after we found his gums and under eye to be pale. Apparently, he had contracted tick fever. Navin's blood count is quite stable and the platelet count is increasing slowly but not normal yet. His liver enzymes are under control for now. His appetite is good.

Update on Happy:
1. Happy's red blood cells are increasing from 22 to 30 aft the Erythropoetin jabs (Normal value 37 - 60)
2. But her creatinine value also is increasing too from 500 to 600 (normal value 60 - 180)
3. Her subcut amount also has been increased from 400ml to 500ml daily
4. The vet has given additional meds for the kidney
5. Happy is given CoQ10 supplement twice a day
6. She needs to go for a follow up again after 2 weeks to check her red blood cells and kidney values

On Wednesday, about 6.30 pm, our member received a distress call from our Transit Centre caretaker that one of the dogs got bitten by a cobra. We quickly contacted another member who stays the nearest to our Transit Centre and he rushed to get the dog to our panel clinic in Puchong.
When he arrived at Transit Centre, the dog was still breathing faintly. No time to lose, he knew he had to act fast. On the other end, we got the clinic staffs on stand by to administer anti venom.

With this extension of the Full Movement Control Order (FMCO) by our government, not only public are facing difficulties, stray animals within shelters and those wandering on streets are also having difficulties to survive due to the shortage of food.
ISPCA is no doubt facing the same problems, the remaining dog food in shelter can only last at most until end of June.

Lumie and Lulu are both girls, siblings to Luke, the maggot wound puppy, who has since been adopted.
Lumie was rescued recently when Painan, our supervisor discovered the entire litter (who was left where they were spotted, and fed by one of his friends) were all poisoned. Only Lumie survived. She was taken back to the shelter, and kept safe with Lulu, who was initially rescued with Luke.

Yay! Luke (the maggot wound puppy) has been adopted!
Mr Gan along with Ms Gan came for him. Now he gets to sleep with Mr Gan in his bed! He has a lovely new daybed and toys too!
The Gan family also gave cash donation as well as supported our merchandise by getting a Pillopup, homemade treats, and collar with leash.
Thank you heaps for giving Luke a beautiful start to his young life. May he have many beautiful years with you. ❤️
