Red-Eared Sliders (RES) are infamously listed as the top 100 worst invasive species in the world. In addition to that, the Department of Wildlife and Natural Parks (PERHILITAN) categorized RES under Animal & Animal-borne Disease in the Invasive Alien Species (IAS) list in Malaysia. Another Very Successful Trapping Day For Us We Rec..

Another very successful trapping day for us! We received a call for help to trap these 12 dogs (5 adults, 7 puppies) residing by the side of the SKVE highway in Putrajaya fed by Max. This morning we managed to trap all 8 dogs from one pack (4 adults, 4 pups). The adults have been sent to our panel vets for neutering/spaying vaccination and eartipping and will be released for feeders to continue feeding them. The pups have been sent to a shelter who will hopefully successfully rehome them.

Update on Movi:
1. Movi has been admitted at Gasing Vet because he wasn't eating and looked weak. Blood test result showed that his red blood cells are low during the admission few days ago.
2. The vet reported Movi is doing slightly better now with drips. Appetite is good as well. Movi has completed his Erythropoeitin jabs and the vet will repeat another blood test today and will update us then.
3. Movi has thyroid hormonal issue thats make his skin condition is not getting any better even...

Update on Baby:
1. Baby's red blood cells are has improved a bit
2. Renal values is still within the same range (about 400). But it has dropped from 900 to 400 since the admission
3. Baby is eating well now. The vet said they will observe baby to today and if everything okay, we can discharge her tomorrow.
4. Once she is home, we need to monitor her diet, continue the subcut fluid and do regular follow up to keep her kidney values in track.

UPDATE ON OUR RETIRED BLOOD DONOR JASON
Update on Jason:
1. Jason had his one of his right kidney removed due to the mass on the kidney.
2. The mass was sent for Histopathology test and the result showed that he is having high grade renal cell carcinoma.
3. During the surgery, the vet couldn't remove all the masses as it has spread into the major blood vessels or surrounding structures.
4. According to the vet, the tumour may be spreading vigorously inside his body and Jason is yet to show any...
