The Malaysian Environmental NGOS (MENGO) is deeply dismayed by the reports that the Selangor state government has degazetted 536.7 hectares (ha) of the Kuala Langat North Forest Reserve (KLNFR) for mixed commercial development. The total area that is approved for degazettement is 54% of the original proposed plan to degazette 931.17 ha.

Update on Venus:-
On Wednesday we sent Venus the injured pup we caught in Cyberjaya to get treated at our panel vet. Upon the initial consult, our vet says that the limb might heal by itself and amputation may not be necessary but it’s too early to confirm that. Maggots were removed and bandaging done.
Today, only 2 days later her wound is already better, swelling has gone down but looks like it will take a long time to heal. Dressing done on daily basis now and the puppy has been vaccina...

Why are we still seeing abandonment of animals around us during the peak of pandemuc? Why can't a human be more humane?
These poor 9 kittens were found nearby our shelter while our staff were out to grab for their lunches. The litter is estimated to be around 2 months old. Our shelter has only a canned of wet food for cats. Can anyone help to donate by bringing canned food to us?
Our shelter accepts donations-in-kinds from 10am to 3pm daily.
