Update on Valerie:
Valerie's blood count still anaemic to proceed with chemotherapy. Valerie has given the EPO jab previously but her red blood cells doesn't seem to increase much. The vet advised us to get another type of hormone injection from kota Damansara vet called Darbepoietin to be given to Valerie. The vet has given the prescription letter for us to buy the injection from the Kota Damansara vet. Valerie need to take the injection on the 10th of Nov.

Today We Received A New Paralysed Dog From A Feede.. 4th Nov 2021, by Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better
Today we received a new paralysed dog from a feeder. He is part of a Buddhist group that feeds street dogs. Their feeding programme is called Bairava Seva. Bairava is a Hindu god with a dog as his companion. Since the rescue is a girl, we have names her Bairavi as a mark of respect of her feeders.

Here's a little trivia about dogs' hearing range. And that is why loud noises such as the sound of fire crackers is really frightening to them.
1. Dogs can hear nearly four times better than humans - meaning sounds are four times louder to them in comparison to you.
2. The average hearing range is usually around 67 Hz to 45,000 Hz (45 kHz). Human hearing stretches from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz (or 20 kHz), but most adults actually top out at 16k Hz.
