Next up is the Painted Terrapin (Batagur borneoensis).
This #turtle is closely related to the river terrapin, but they lay their eggs and make their nests on coastal beaches, unlike the river terrapin which lays eggs on riverbanks.
In the mating season, which is from January to June, heads of males turn white with a bright red stripe between the eyes, and the usually brown shell lightens with three thick, black stripes running down the shell, making them very ✨ attractive ✨ to females!

These are the receipts of cat and dog food, medical and others for the expenditure in January 2023. The total is Rm13,423.52 ( including salary for a caretaker at our cattery Rm1,100 and Janda Baik Rm3,000 for 2 workers ). The balance of the expenditure from November 2022 is Rm16,525.54. Now the grand total is Rm29,949.06.
