How Are Things Over At Imm's Shelter? 21st May 2011, by AnimalCare
Updates from Judy:Imm still looks tired. I can empathise her situation. I've noticed myself that I can't get much done in a day as I used to since turning 60. I'm 62 this year and Imm's 64! She leaves for the shelter at 9.30am (on Mondays at 8.00am as Yvonne and Curtis prefers to be at the shelter by 8.30am) and finishes usually around 12.30pm. From between then and 5p...

Poor Lilac Has Complications 20th May 2011, by AnimalCare
The vet just called moments ago. Complications has developed in Lilac's wounds. Part of the wound has now turned gangrenous. A more serious concern is that there is a swelling inside and an X-Ray taken today showed the presence of urine. This suggests that there could be some leakage from the urethra. The vet will inform the rescuer, Lisa, and await her decision on Lilac. Meanwhile, we can only pray that Lilac will recover from these complications if Lisa agre...
