Adult Beagle Found Along Highway From Kota Damansara To Sg Buloh 9th Aug 2011, by Second Chance
FOUND on August 7, 2011 - Adult female beagle wandering along the back highway from Kota Damansara to Sg Buloh. She was wearing a brown, leatherlike collar which was very loose on her - so I suspect she's been missing for quite a while and has lost weight. She came to me, tail wagging when called. Apart from some minor skin ailments and a bad case of fleas, she appears to be in very good health. has now been bathed (With little protest) and medicated for the fleas. Loves being patted! ...

Pets Age Just As We Do 9th Aug 2011, by Dr Rayya's Online Veterinary Journal
Every day I come across a consultation with a geriatric patient with untreated arthritis. My clients often mistaken signs of arthritis as being normal and part of the aging process. While arthritis is a disease of geriatric animals, obesity nowadays is also leading to early onset of arthritis in animals.
Dogs and cats will not overtly show signs of discomfort.
I mean look at Oscar (7-8 year old labrador) below. I examined him last week for an ear infection and discovered he was sore in his hip...

Twice Lucky 8th Aug 2011, by Dr Rayya's Online Veterinary Journal
I would love to share with you the story of my neighbor’s chicken or as we call it here down under ’chook’. Jesse has two pet chooks in her well enclosed backyard. It is a hobby farming area with homes back to back. I was driving out to work one morning and my neighbor came running towards my car holding a chook wrapped up in a towel.
She was very distressed and felt terrible to ambush me.
She explained to me that her chooks had been attacked between 2 and 3 a.m. and she had...
