Our tough cookie Caramel sent us a picture of her from her current boarding place =) Caramel has been discharged from the vet. But the road to recovery does not stop here. Caramel is now being cared for by Mrs Lai, and this require daily change the wound dressing .. but no worries there, Dr Goh has given Mrs Lai a quick but thorough lesson on how to do it.~ yikesss.. Wawa, Rescued Pup From The MMR2 Highway

Phoebe rescued this pup from the MMR2 highway on Sunday. She was found lying on the divider and was later discovered to be limping. Phoebe and her sister, Sew Yen, brought the pup to our panel vet today, for an evaluation. They came all the way from Batu Caves! See the limping leg? Ever since CP became an active CNRM practitioner, she has been doing her bit to help educate and encourage her neighbours to do the same.First, it was her neighbour, Mrs Wong, and next, it's a Filipino domestic helper who has been feeding cats for many years. Mimi Is On Drips

Mimi, Mayo's other resident-cat, sister to the demised Dodo, became unwell last week. She has been put on drips since then, and according to what I hear, the prognosis isn't good. It is suspected to be kidney failure, just like her brother, Dodo.Mimi is also 12 years old. Ms Husky was one of the 23 puppies we took out from the Selayang Pound when the Selayang Pound was thrown into the limelight way back in January 2010. Eight of the puppies did not look well, so I brought them straight to the vet's while the rest stayed at the shelter. We have some bad news about Ah Wong here. =(Life ain't peachy after her 1st reconstructive surgery as her pee-ing problem couldn't be fixed yet. Her urethra has been blocked by scar tissues. Dr Edmund had to perform a subsequent reconstructive surgery to make the 'pee-ing hole' bigger again. Two More Dogs On RetroMAD1

Eileen Ng was interested to try the RetroMAD1 on her parvo puppy, Chubby. She came to my house yesterday to get some and there was a distemper pup in her car. The distemper pup, Bono, was twitching at the mouth. Since distemper is also viral in nature, the RetroMAD1 can also be used on it, though there has been no proven successful case yet. The rain didn't dampen the spirits today of the children and parents from Sharon's Lavender Courtyard, who came to the AWRC to enthusiastically learn all about helping wild animals and why dolphins belong in the wild!
