I just received a call from Lina. Chewie's gone.Lina and friends had gone out and had just got back. They had left Chewie to sleep in the cage before going out. I was at the clinic at 5.30pm sharp waiting for Chewie to arrive. Just as I parked my car, Lina texted to say Chewie had eaten on her own! Yay! Faucitis? That's the first time I hear of this medical jargon.It means infection of the fauces (inside of the mouth).That's what Amy Thum's rescued mama-cat has. Siew Choo lives in USJ6 and she has been feeding this cat (photo below, pretty, yah?). Worried About Chewie

I've been texting Lina today, enquiring about Chewie. The good news is that she is walking about and not falling over. But the bad news is that she is still very weak and has no appetite.Lina and friends force-fed this morning and gave her her medicine. CP went in the afternoon to do healing and said Chewie was just lying very still.Our vet is worried too. Lina will bring Chewie in for a check-up later this evening.

Mary was driving in the Taman Tun area yesterday evening when she saw a sickly-looking little kitten in the middle of the road. She picked up the kitten and brought it to our panel vet for a check-up.According to the vet, the kitten has flu and some skin fungal problem. She is a very pretty little thing. Nandhini offered to foster the 5 kittens that were dumped in front of my gate in a styrofoam box 2 weeks ago. I've been in contact with Nandhini daily on their progress after they were discharged from the vet's. Initially, they all had diarrhoea (really watery type) and the flu.
