Amber Horsey's Updates (for Adoption)

Amber Horsey was rescued from Klang by Joanne Lim, and found to have had compound fracture in her back leg. The leg could not be saved and had to be amputated. She has also been spayed. Her medical treatment was sponsored from our funds.Amber Horsey has since been fostered and rehabilitated by Lydia, and Amber H is now ready for adoption. Latest Progress Updates On Sweet Caramel

Attached are some pictures taken during the dressing of Caramel’s wounds procedure. The wound is healing nicely as can be seen from the very smooth surface. The size of the wound has also reduced. Caramel took it all in her stride when Dr Goh did the dressing for her and did not whine nor struggle. Her paws were quite badly torn at first but are now recovering too! Mabu Is Doing Well!

Maslinda brought two very young kittens, Lulu and Mabu, to our panel vet for treatment of diarrhoea. Lulu, unfortunately, passed away on the table as she was already very weak and emaciated. Mabu was stronger, and was given Scourban to control the diarrhoea as well as ID as her food.Maslinda says Mabu is doing well now, and for the past 2 days, Mabu's stools have been solid. This morning, Punitha found five newborn kittens dumped in a box in front of her office. Arrangements were made quickly, and they are now with Rozita Halim (adopter of the Sunnies). It sure has been a very hectic week and I am so glad I have a day off tomorrow. While I would just like to chill out and do absolutely nothing, I have a few lingering work issues that I need to tidy up before I can fully RELAX.
I have so many amazing stories to share with you all but I am running on very little fuel.
I am sleep deprived and was giggling like a 5-year-old for most of the afternoon today.
Tomorrow the aim is to clear my mind and maybe even meditate.

Amanda sent this heart-warming story:The three-month-old kitten pictured above caused delays for 15 Tokyo trains after climbing underneath a train car. Passengers heard the kitten meowing, and the train made an emergency stop at Kamata station. The kitten was found and pulled to safety, but not before delaying the commutes of about 23,000 people.Oh, little kittens, you masters of mischief! Reena Kong contacted me yesterday. She asked if I knew of any vet who could do surgery of the jaw. I immediately recommended our vet in Subang Jaya who had successfully repaired a broken jaw on Clariss (accident victim) last year. Reena's cat, Kenya, was involved in an accident (though, not sure how the injury happened as there were no eye witnesses), and the vet said the injury on her face is so extensive, he suggested euthanasia. I have just spoken to my mum. She says Karuna is very well-behaved and did not bark last night (that's a relief, because previously, some neighbours had complained about Sean and Tara's barking).
