As you know, in our CNRM, R stands for REHOME as well as RETURN (to colony).
We always say that REHOME is ideal, but being realistic, we know this is not always possible, so the next best option would be to return the animal to the colony it came from. The “advantages” (if it could be called that) of this would be:

A rescuer who once helped me to transport a dog ask for help today in Klang nearby KO skin clinic, a famous plastic surgery clinic in Klang town. While I was at my friend’s house visiting Courage, I was also helping Norshidah arrange for the burial of Ben. Nor said it cannot be cremation, and only wanted burial. I called James Kho and managed to arrange for burial today, at RM150. James went to the clinic immediately and collected the remains of Ben. Nor took care of the burial charges.

At long last today, I could find time to visit Courage at my friend’s house. I asked KT Tan if he’d like to come along, and so he was there too.
In my rush, I forgot to bring my camera, so please forgive the rather blurry photos taken with my trusty old Terra Nova Nokia (yes, I got a full refund for my defective smartphone – no more smartphones for me!).

Hi all, there's a report of a brown-grey cat crouched on the divider along MRR2, just immediately after the big Prodiet cat food signboard. The direction of Ampang heading to Bukit Jalil, on the fast lane side divider. Looks ill or injured, anyone passing this route on the way home? Ben Passes Away (Norshidah’s)

This morning, the vets discovered that Ben had passed away in the night. Ben was put on drips yesterday and treatment was administered.
Our only consolation is perhaps that Ben did not have to endure any prolonged suffering and he decided he would rejoin the Universal Oneness and be free and at peace now. Perhaps Ben is with his brother, Burt, now, on Rainbow Bridge.
We wish Ben a smooth journey to his next existence.
