Nandhini brought three female cats to be spayed under our full sponsorship today. These are amongst the cats that Nandhini feeds in her back alley. Unfortunately, neighbours have got together and complained over the feeding and looking after of these cats, so Nandhini has to relocate the cats with immediate effect for fear that these angry neighbours will do something to the cats. I visited Mickey today and managed to speak with the vet. The vet said the prognosis is good, but not fantastic. During the surgery, there was a lot of urine welling inside already, and it was not clear where the rupture was but the vet suspects it is not at the end of the urinary tract but just before that. If this guess is right, then it becomes tricky. If the rupture was right at the end, the urethrostomy can be done if need be, but if it's not at the end (as the vet now suspects), then ...

Norshidah's elderly mother feeds many cats in her neighbourhood, and Nor noticed that one of the cats (whom her mum calls "Burt") came up with a lot of "wounds" after a huge catfight one day. So she enquired if I could make an appointment for this cat to be treated. Empire Gallery Blast : Cats, dogs & chinchillas removed already from Petsmore, but around 20 rabbits, 30-40 guinea pigs, 100 hamsters and fish still in shop. BOMBA only allowed staff in to feed this morning, hopefully Petsmore will get the green light within the next 24 hours to rescue the remaining animals.
