Home-Cooked Cat And Dog Food (Molly Brown’s)

Molly Brown cooks for all her animals (dogs and cats) and she uses one recipe for both, but adds oats for the dogs.

I cook for all my animals.. only the fostered ones are on kibbles… but i dont use potatoes as it is not good for their digestion… but i use sweet potatoes.. i usually stew 5 chicken, then debone after stew ( i buy the old hens at RM8.50 per bird) add in another 3 breast meat.. 1 kilo meat dust and vegetables comprising pumpkin, sweet potatoes, ...

Merry Christmas everyone!
This is the best picture I could take of my brood this morning. It isn’t often I can get all of them to eat at the same time because usually someone would be late in coming to the kitchen, but this morning, everyone was here.

Tabs’ News

Tabs has been very well-behaved ever since getting spayed. I guess it’s the recovery period and she’s not exactly feeling that well yet.
I have been keeping her confined in my room all day. It’s better than being caged up.
Pole came by to visit and just take a look at how fierce Tabs is (look at those ears!).
When I come into the room, Tabs ambushes me from behind the door and tries to get out. She’s VERY fast.

Indy Finishes All His Jabs!!

This evening, I brought Indy for his last antibiotic jab and guess what, Indy BENT the needle!
That’s his way of saying, “I’m done….goodbye needle!”
But his acupuncture is still ongoing, of course.
Indy back home after his last jab.
One would think he would be fed-up of AD, but he is not. I’m glad he has a good appetite now.
We hope we would not have to go to the vet’s for a long, long time, Indy.
You’ll have to eat more healthily now.

Lee , if you are reading this, please contact me as soon as possible regarding your friend’s intention to adopt a Siberian Husky. I have just made contact with the Chinese-speaking lady and the Husky has NOT been thrown out yet.
Your friend can then liaise directly with the mother of the owner. It is the mother who is “fostering” the Husky now, after I persuaded the Chinese-speaking lady to tell them to please hang on.

Indy, Bunny And Friends, And My Diet Conversion Project

This morning, I think it must have been at 5am or earlier that Indy came to wake me up by nudging me repeatedly. He was really persistent but I was also persistently dead-beat and could not get up at all. So Indy finally let me sleep on until 6.45am.
Downstairs at the kitchen, everyone came in. Including The Sheikh (Bunny)! Bunny was actually waiting for me at the landing of the stairs as I came down. Now, that’s a great improvement. The Sheikh doesn’t need breakfast-in-bed this morn...

Tabs Is Doing Fine

Last night, after the anaesthesia wore off, Tabs probably wasn’t feeling too good as she did not want to eat. I offered food and she wasn’t interested, so I let her be. She did, however, urinate many times in the litter box.
Tiger and Cow came to visit.
I finally succeeded in persuading Tiger to take back his throne.
Cow, as usual, is having a huge security issue here.
He too wants to claim a spot in the room.

Subsidy For Hambao’s Final Bill (Grace Chow’s)

We have subsidised RM224.50 for Hambao’s final bill.
Hambao was rescued by Grace Chow, a student from UTAR Kampar, treated and is now adopted. Hambao and Dehbao’s earlier bill was also subsidised by us. Unfortunately, Dehbao did not make it.

Tabs Is Spayed And Is Home Now

The clinic called at 5.15pm saying I could already pick up Tabs. Earlier on, at 4.30pm, I rang and the assistant said Tabs had just been spayed and all went went.
I was so relieved. You know how it is when any of your animals go in for an operation. Every operation comes with risks.
Tabs was moving a lot in the cage when I reached the clinic. She was still a big groggy.

Giving Back Tiger His Throne

While Tabs was away for spaying, I tried to give Tiger’s Cardboard Palace back to him, especially his “throne”, but he wasn’t comfortable sitting on it anymore.
See how uncomfortable he is? He used to sleep like a log on his boxes.
Then, it rained heavily and I could not find Tiger anywhere in the house.
After the rain stopped, Tiger appeared at the window. He must have sought shelter in one of the neighbour’s houses because he was not wet.
