The Indy Issue Continues.... 4th Oct 2011, by AnimalCare
Indy did not come back for breakfast again this morning, so I went out to look for him. He was sleeping under a neighbour's car. I called him and he came out, but while carrying him back, he was aggressive and started hissing. I think he's telling me he doesn't want to be brought home. Then, I brought him into the kitchen. I had prepared two dishes - his favourite chicken liver and his Royal Canin Renal, which he absolutely loves. This morning, I had not let the Blueys out yet. I suspect Indy is v...

CRUELTY AGAINST DOGS AT ITS WORST 4th Oct 2011, by Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better
The biggest animal abusers in the country are without doubt the local councils. MDDB had been involved in several local council pound exposes and had organised our first demonstration at the DBKL pound in Setapak. In some of the other pound pictures, the water and food containers and the kibbles were also supplied by us to the pounds after we found out that the dogs were not fed anything or given water to drink for days. Let us remember these sad animals who probably all perished in these ...

They love the playhouse now... They still play in the little house. Uncle Bunny wants baby food! Bunny has sort of accepted them. So has Tiger...Bunny's back on his pink box, after almost 27 days of exile, I think. That's Bagheera sleeping down there. My my, aren't you sitting t...

Indy Has An Issue 3rd Oct 2011, by AnimalCare
Indy seems to have an issue with someone. I'm not sure if it's the Blueys or Pole, or even Cow. He has been distancing himself a lot, refusing to come back even for breakfast. And every day, I have to go bring him back from the neighbour's (3 houses away). When he comes back, he hisses at the Blueys, and practically everyone. He seems terrified of Pole too, but these two have been at loggerheads for sometime now. I guess it's because both of them live outside, so there is a territoria...

Mickey's Wound Cleaning 3rd Oct 2011, by AnimalCare
Cheang brought Mickey for wound cleaning today.Mickey wearing his little socks to protect a sore on his hind leg.To be realistic, the worst is NOT over yet for Mickey as there is still urine leaking through the gaping hole. This means the rupture has not healed completely. Surgery is not possible to mend the rupture because of the position. We need to call upon a higher force in the universe to help Mickey heal. However, Mickey is happy, eating well and pee-ing on his own. Being the happy ...
