Majid has not updated me ever since he asked for help and I directed him to Dr Veeranoot. Dr Veeranoot also went round to that particular cafeteria to look for the cat.
Majid finally updated the good doctor and apparently, according to Majid, the cat does not look as sickly anymore now.

A person by the name of Sharon needs help to foster a little kitten that she just found. But they are in Johor Baru. Her husband just called. just now i went to my isolation room (to feed both mother cats and check on her) and found that thong dao managed to escape from the cage and out of the room thru the window.
at night i normally put her inside the cage coz i want to make sure she’s eating. i did the same last night

I considered us EXTREMELY lucky in that many times when we shout out for help, someone somewhere will offer (not always, just sometimes, but I’m extremely thankful for these “sometimes”).
We helped Kim shout out for help two days ago when she found 4 abandoned kittens and after one day, our reader (she has insisted on anonymity and we shall respect that) offered to help. By then, one had already passed on and there were only 3 left.

UPDATES at 8.47pm – Yan Wei wrote to say the dogs have been successfully caught and are at the vet’s. The vet said they would be ready for adoption in 2 weeks’ time. No further details have been given.

Dear little Perky, adopted by Mei Leng in 2010. Perky was one of our Klang Pound rescues, taken out from the pound on the day she was due to be euthanised. Then, she was “lucky” in that she was in dire straits, so we brought her back from the farm for treatment. Thereafter, Mei Leng offered to adopt her, and life has been GREAT for Perky ever since!

Fosterer Urgently Needed: This is Winter. Her owners wanted to surrender her to the SPCA because she has scabies. We suggested they treat Winter's affliction instead and even provided the medication. Sadly, after just one week, they gave up and left Winter to us. So we're now urgently looking for someone to foster her so we can put her up for adoption.
