Fitri Goes Home (photos!)

At long last, Fitri is home!
From Myza Nordin:
Greetings to all.
Fitri boy has been discharged on Saturday 3rd March, 2012 and I am currently fostering him. He is now on retromed1, itraconazole and antibiotic. And this will continue for another few months until the sporo is gone.
I will be taking him for blood test, vaccination once, his the wound/injury is gone.
The final bill will be posted to all by today.
Thank you all for the help given. I am pretty sure, Fitri will say the same ...

Marine animals of all shapes and sizes- from sharks and smaller fish to turtles and dolphins- were in the spotlight today when we gave two talks about marine animal protection at Overseas Family School, kicking off their "Sharing the Planet" unit of enquiry. We had a great time talking to the students and hearing their ideas about how we can all help to protect the animals who live in the oceans! Thank you to the students and staff at OFS for their warm welcome!

After some discussion, the vet suggested to bring her back to the clinic so he can monitor her closely. Further examine on the hernia, the vet decided an immediate surgery to fix it through an opening that is several inches long. According to him, it was pretty bad. The surgical procedure is scheduled for today. I’m sure she’ll be fine but please pray for her.

4 MARCH - Two lucky shelter dogs found new homes this weekend! Jojo the 4-year-old female Shih-tzu went home with Mugilaveni Ramakrishnan and family, while lovely 3-year-old Chiko the terrier-X was adopted by Mr Alex Tan. Many thanks to these two adopters for giving our dogs a new lease on life!

Justice's rescuer can only take him back in June and given this he has to be here till then. Jeniffer Leong just finished her round of fostering and he is now with another fosterer in Setia Alam. We are in need of help for justice as we need to buy him diapers as he has no bowel control due to his paralysis. Remember these three puppies that walked into Miki's house last week? Well Miki called us frantically saying that her mother wanted to turn them out and that she need to travel to Singapore. Accident Victim

NOWThis accident victim was found along the Puchong Highway and was rescued by former beauty queen Thanuja after she had come across our S.O.S. The doggie had hurt her legs and was unable to walk or stand. This was because of injury to the nerves. She is still being treated at the clinic and can stand a walk a little.
