Our inspector was at PJ Magistrate waiting for Petknode's verdict. The owner of Petknode if found guilty of 30 charges (30 cats from 10 owners), will be charged under Animal Act 1953 Section 44 (1).
Next hearing on 28th June. Today, the owners of Petknode walk.

On 16 Jan we referred a case of illegal online selling of hedgehogs to the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore (following a staff member's report). SPCA would like to thank AVA for investigating and taking action in this case. A man was prosecuted and fined $5,200 by the Court on 20 March, for having a total of 13 hedgehogs in his possession.
