Happy Poppy!
1st Jun 2012, by Second Chance

This picture of Maggie siting in a tray was taken in Mrs. Lai's house when she fostered her. Wasn't she cute and adorable? Who will know that a puppy from the streets, will soon change a woman's and her son's life? She was adopted when only 3 mth old, and now she is 7-8 mth old. At first Mrs. Lai thought she was blind as she always turned around in circles (sometimes  more than 20 circles!). But luckily she is not, according to Ivan (adopter's son), she...

Talk About “anniversaries”….
31st May 2012, by AnimalCare

A few readers sent me this, and I was waiting to share it today, on our 3rd anniversary! The caption reads: Everyday- at the same time – she waits for him… He comes… and they go for a walk. Wouldn’t it be great if we all had friends like this…no words needed…they just intuitively recognize the value of each other in their lives and act accordingly. Yes, life doesn’t have to be complicated. Only humans make it so. Learn from the animals? This little stor...

Our 3rd Anniversary – Thank You Very Much (May Donors)
31st May 2012, by AnimalCare

Hi Everyone, Today is AnimalCare’s 3rd anniversary! It has been three years since the day I stated AnimalCare with a cardboard box, with a modest and realistic target of helping 10 animals per year in neutering, and I wasn’t even sure if we could achieve that at that time! Today, after 3 years, we have helped a total of 1978 animals, averaging at about 55 animals per month, and it is all thanks to all of you who have made it possible with your generosity and moral support. This month...

Out Of The Bonnet And Into A Warm Caring Family!
31st May 2012, by Noah's Ark CARES

Who would imagine finding a kitten in a car bonnet? A few faintish sounding 'meows" prompted our rescuer to open up bonnet for further investigation. A small and extremely filthy little kitten greeted her, not sure if we could call that a pleasant surprise? The rescuer whipped the little one out of the bonnet and settled her quickly into a carrier. The little one meowed relentlessly as she was likely not used to being confined to a small space. She was fed warm food and water, shortly after she ...
