Bobby’s Indigestion Problem 7th Jun 2012, by AnimalCare
For the whole of last week, Bobby had been very difficult to feed. He didn’t seem to want to eat and had to be force-fed. I thought he was tired of the home-cooked food, so I gave him canned food. It was then that he threw up all the food, and had those gluey stools again. It is pasty, like glue.
That day itself, I got him Gentle Digest, which is prebiotics and probiotics for dogs and cats. The last time, it worked very well for him. Luckily my vet has it.

Indy’s Double-Escape! 7th Jun 2012, by AnimalCare
This morning, when I came downstairs and fed the cats, Indy was no where to be found. I searched everywhere in the room and garden and he was not in Bunny’s Place!
After a frantic search, with all the cats following me (including Baggy), I found Indy right outside the Stargate – exactly where Mr G hangs out every evening. The naughty boy must have escaped sometime during the night and wandered out for a midnight stroll. I couldn’t figure out how on earth he got out, though, but...

Another Diaphragmatic Hernia Case In A Kitten (Maslinda Abu Talib’s) 7th Jun 2012, by AnimalCare
It is sad the rescued kittens are diagnosed with diaphragmatic hernia and they are too young to undergo surgery. If you remember Chewie’s case – it was diaphragmatic hernia as well. Chewie was actually too young to undergo surgery, but it was necessary to save her life or she might suffocate to death. The surgery was successful, but somehow, she mysteriously passed on a few days later at her new home.
How is a young street kitten afflicted with diaphragmatic hernia? It could be due t...

So metimes all we can do is rescue, adopt and take good care of one or two street animals for life, and we do not have any resources to do anymore. That’s perfectly okay, because that is what we are able to do. The point is not about numbers, but about doing a good job with whatever resources we have.
Liew Yung Keong picked up two cats (mother-and-daughter), he applied for spaying subsidy whi...

during their recovery time (around 1 week) before release them back to
the community. Don’t worry that I will leave them behind because I’m
trying to help them instead of leave them to animal centre. This is

Updates On 7th Jun 2012 7th Jun 2012, by SPCA Selangor
"Brownie has an exceptionally beautiful brown sheen on the upper surface of his body and is completely white underneath from head to tail. He behaves typically like a watchdog, barking at the imposition of an intruder. In that sense he is very useful in keeping watch of the house especially when owners are away.
He is bright and active and is highly astute and can repsond immediately when there is an intruder. He is obedient to his current mistress and behaves in a very tame manner towards...
