Pet World Exhibition Fair In Mid Valley

Second Chance was lucky to have a chance to take part in the Pet World Exhibition Fair in Mid Valley. Together with many other dog rescue groups (including HOPE who came all the way from Johor), we sell merchandise to raise fund to feed our dogs. Bobby Starts Having Old-Age Seizures

On Friday morning, Bobby went into a seizure at 5.30am. It lasted quite long and he was salivating excessively. After the seizure, he was totally disoriented and kept turning around in circles for almost two hours. The only way to stop him was to corner him, put boxes around him, but still, he kept turning and could not stop. He even struggled when he was held down. He only settled down after 2 hours.

The 5th Pet World Malaysia (15th – 17th June 2012, 10am – 9pm)

This is the first time we are participating in Pet World Malaysia. We’ll be selling our tshirts and giving out free books. There will also be kueh for sale at our booth on Saturday and Sunday. The kueh is courtesy of my mother.

Buy Cookies To Help The Doggies (Jennifer SL Leong’s)

One of Jennifer Leong’s rescued dog, Terry, suspected abandoned by the owner, was recently diagnosed as having heartworms. The two-day treatment is expected to cost RM800 or more, if complications arise. We have pledged to subsidise 50% up to a maximum of RM500 as per our policy.
Jennifer is trying to raise the additional funds to cover Terry’s expenses and since she has a passion for baking cookies, I’ve suggested that she bakes cookies to raise funds for Terry.

Neuter Subsidy For A Male Cat (Dr Veeranoot Nissapatorn’s)

Thong Mee was rescued by Dr Veeranoot on 25th May.
