I managed to save enough to send Jasper (temporary name) for the
beagle that came to us on 5 Sept’12 for a health check up. He is
obese but on the overall blood test came out fine, no kidney or liver
problem, no thyroid, no heartworm, just plain fat. Only problem is
his skin problem which I am treating now combining with home remed...

Me and another friend have recently rescued a Labrador at bandar sri damanasara, abandoned with a huge lump hanging down from one of her tits. will be up for adoption soon as her result for the lump was not cancerous tumor. (Just benign soft tissue lesion)

This is one of the female cat who was “rescued” from Segamat. Total
six of them, 2 adults & 4 kittens.
Her original owner cannot take them in anymore as her landlord chased
them out last month.
Temporarily, these cats stayed with Mr. Lee Wei Tah in Parit Raja,
Batu Pahat.
Can I apply the subsidy to spay her ?
We will try to find her new foster soonest possible.

Updates From Imm’s Shelter In Ipoh

We highlighted Oei Phaik Imm’s plight in March last year and thanks to our readers and those who received my forwarded email, we raised a substantial amount to get Imm back on her feet. Ever since then, some donors have been supporting Imm’s work while some Ipoh friends have been going in to help out physically.
Recently, Imm applied for medical subsidy for 3 of their animals. We subsidised the bills as per our policies. Extended boarding was not covered.

Hi, my name is Maggie. I spotted 2 stray puppies somewhere near to town area. They have been there since yesterday, and I left them hoping someone would foster or take them home. But unfortunately, I went there again today to check them out and surprisingly they are still there. I have brought them some buns and water, but not able to take them as I have 4 older dogs at home. He seems okay though I had not taken his temperature again. I’ll do it tomorrow. So far, he has been eating very well so that ‘s a good sign.
