Do you have a paddling pool that you do not need anymore?
The past couple of days have been pretty hot and our dogs at the SPCA have been feeling it too.
To help them cool off as well as have a little fun at the same time, we would be grateful if you have a paddling pool that you would like to donate, to email shelter@spca.org.sg

Of Puppies With “inverted Rear Paws” And Its Possible Causes

Yeste rday, Avant Pet sent 20 bags of Blackgold dogfood (22.7kg each) to Mdm Hoo. This dogfood donation comes from our Food Fund (that means from all our donors, big or small!), Andy Lew, PC Leong (10 packs in total), Peggy Tiong, Amelia and Sau Yee.
Many thanks to Avant Pet and all donors!
Mdm Hoo feeds about 200 dogs in several locations in Kajang.

Abandoned Puppy, Born With Paws Facing Backwards, Needs Surgery (Kelly Tan Juat Jong’s)

Kelly Tan and Jacinta Emmanuel come under our Food Fund. They both take care of a total of 118 dogs in Tanjong Rambutan and Ipoh.
Yesterday, Kelly (who only speaks Chinese and is not IT-literate) called to request help for an abandoned puppy (along with its sibling) who was left outside her door. This puppy’s hind legs are deformed in that the paws are “facing backwards”.
Kelly took the puppy to her regular vet in Ipoh and the vet estimates the surgery to correct this deformity...
