Animals Suffer….everywhere
25th Jul 2012, by AnimalCare

Andy Lew and Emily bought Baggy 3 boxes of Natural Balance wetfood during PetWorld and Andy dropped in today to visit and deliver the food.  Thank you very much, Andy and Emily!  Hi Baggy!  Hmm…there must be something interesting (or tasty?) in the bag…  Andy brought some treats he had brought back from Taipei. It’s freeze-dried raw treats. Tabs and Baggy loved it.  ”This is a very friendly cat”, says Andy. Ahem…of course, that’s our Miss Perso...

This morning, Meiji collected another 13 bags of dogfood, from Avant Pet in Selayang. This is our arrangement for Meiji now as Selayang is a much nearer collection point for Meiji (from Raub). The reason it is only 13 bags is because the maximum load for Meiji’s jeep is 3ookg. These are 23kg bags. This RM1430 worth of dogfood has been subsidised by Andy Lew (RM455) of Avant Pet and the rest of the RM975 is sponsored by Kok Khee Wee, Dr Veeranoot Nissapatorn, Tan Peng Seng, Peggy Tan, Tupui...

Look at Perky now… From Mei Leng: hi Kah Yein, I managed to snap some photo of perky last nite. she is doing good and perky as usual. How To Make Use Of The Spaces In Bunny’s Place
24th Jul 2012, by AnimalCare

Cow’s spraying is gradually mutilating one leg of our poor tree trunk bench, so before it’s completely mutilated, we’ve decided to shift it to the patio. Thankfully, Indy has shifted from the bench to the pink box, so we won’t be depriving him from his favourite spot now. Having moved the tree trunk bench out, we have more space in the room and cleaning is made easier too.  Ah…more breathing space. The top shelf is Pole’s. She shares it with Cleo at times. T...

A Burmese Story
23rd Jul 2012, by Second Chance

There is a great Burmese man is working in a workshop in Puchong. He has rescued  many homeless dogs around his work place and has been caring for them.I was driving around in Bandar Bukit Puchong when I saw some dogs hanging around some shops. Just as I wondered how these dogs were going to get food when all shops were closed on Sunday and not a soul was around. I saw this man cycling with his toddler child sitting in the bicycle basket, he was bringing some food ...

Free Roaming Or Confined?
23rd Jul 2012, by AnimalCare

Mrs Wong shared this: http://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/l eisure/2012/07/23/should-she-stay-or-should-she-go / The article talks about whether cats should be allowed to roam freely as Nature has intended them to, or they should be confined for their own safety. There will always be two schools of thought on this issue. For the last five years, my cats were free roaming simply because I had not planned on keeping cats in the first place and I was not able to confine them in a conducive s...
