In case you were wondering, we are open for adoptions over the Christmas period! Here're our operating hours:
Mon, 24 December - 11am to 12.30pm
Tue, 25 December - 11am to 3.30pm
Wed, 26 December - 10am to 4pm (normal)
* As the whole process of adoption takes about half an hour to complete, we regret that we are not able to process any adoption with less than 30 minutes to the stated closing time.

WIRA RIMBA, a 44-min documentary on park rangers in Malaysia, is WWF-Malaysia's first full length documentary produced by Sunny Stories in collaboration with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. This documentary gives us a glimpse into the lives of our local heroes who are at the front lines of protecting our forests and their rich natural resources. WIRA RIMBA will be aired for the first time on TV1, 25 December at 10.00 pm.

Thank you Cathay Organisation for spreading the Christmas and holiday cheer to the animals. They presented us with a $2000 donation and raised over $500 in merchandise sales at their company staff day which was held at their HQ yesterday. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Mindful Relaxation Workshop By Billy Tan

Billy Tan will be conducting a Mind Relaxation Workshop on 5th, 12th and 19th January 2013 at the Ti-Ratana Penchala Community Centre. Participation is by donation which will be channeled to Ti-Ratana Penchala’s Meals on Wheels (MOW) community outreach program, and these funds will used to help the street animals who come through our Medical and Food Fund.

The Search For Timmy

I was worried if Mr Quack had injured Timmy as he had Ginger, so I decided to go out to look for him. I know I won’t be able to get near him, so I’ll just do what I can.
Like Mr Quack, Timmy too appeared in our neighbourhood recently. In fact, the first time I saw him, he was sitting right in the middle of the road and was mewing quite pitifully.

Of Peaceful Post-Quack Days

Ever since Quack got teleported out of this neighbourhood, peace returned and all has been well.
Once again, we have peaceful and quiet nights. No more sounds of horrific catfights at a distance.
Over at the homefront, Ginger comes home daily for his antibiotics. In fact, Rosie and Ginger are here most of the time.
What’s most touching is, Ginger and Rosie bring Daffodil over for food. And when they do, one of them would come right to the grille to “call” me and when I go out, ...

Medical Sponsorship For Blackie, Half Brown & Cow Cow (Mdm Hoo & Lai Mei Kueen’s)

We have fully sponsored RM94 for Half Brown (medication, PCV test, hospitalisation), RM54 for Blackie (medication, two abscess discharge, hospitalisation) and RM32 for Cow Cow (medication, vaccination, skin scrap). 50% of this sponsorship comes from our Medical Fund and the balance comes from Edward Lee, Elaine Chan, Peggy Tiong, Amelia and Sau Yee.
