On 29 Nov at about 3am, the woman pictured left a 1-year-old female cross Siamese cat just outside our gates in a cage. She then turned around and ran away. Luckily, our staff discovered the cat soon after. The cat, which we've named Poptart, will be up for adoption very soon.

The day started at 5.30am where I fed Ginger first, then my brood. As my brood was eating, we heard a loud thud on our pantry roof. Cleo was the first to investigate. Oh no, it’s the Quack. He’s here…
Before you know it, the Quack was right in front of Ginger’s cage. I tiptoed and saw him just staring at Ginger. He fled when he saw me. After that, Ginger was so terrified he dared not eat his food which was in the cage.

More Quack news, folks.
This evening, I saw Mr Quack doing the ledge-route heading for Mr G’s house, so I quickly texted Mr G’s owner and asked her to please apprehend the Quack (the Quack goes to her house to eat). The owner called me back and asked, “Where??”. “I saw him heading to your house!”, I said, “he must be there”.
Nope, he wasn’t. Only Mr G was and for a few days now, Mr G has had an ear injury which refuses to heal.

Things we can do to work towards less cruelty on animals:
1. Buy free-range animal products.
2. Go veggie once a week. Twice?
3. Eat less meat.
4. Tell others about the cruelty in factory farming. Share with them what they can do (Nos. 1, 2 & 3).
It is not impossible…it can be done if we do our part.

Here are two tips from friends who have been successful:
This is how i lay my trap..
roasted chicken butt… no other cat food inside but catnip lay around… try not to put towel or anything on top..sometimes the towel may have other smell and it makes them even more cautious … if you do put cat kibbles, put very little… let him eat it all and wait… usually it takes a while.. some is like an instance, some cats are more careful… patience… it can take up to...
