We highlighted Siti Noraini Suriya’s work with cats when one of her spayed cats had complications after spaying. After that, one of our readers was very impressed with Siti’s dedication and commitment to the cats so this reader wrote to us to say that she will sponsor the medical needs of all of Siti’s remaining cats (inclusive of treatment, vaccinations and neutering). Updates on 8th Oct, at 7.30am: Aswan gave some milk to the kittens last night and he has written to the fosterer. Now awaiting reply. Let’s wish the kittens well.
Updates at 10.30pm: I managed to get a cat-fosterer’s contact detail and have sent it to Aswan. Aswan will contact the fosterer directly. However, if you can help, please contact Aswan directly. At the SS19/1 Community Carnival today, I had a good chat with Mr Rajiv Rishyakaran, a councilor for MPSJ.
We had already spoken about 2 years ago when I first asked if MPSJ would be able to spare ear-notched (neutered) animals. The SS19/1 Community Carnival

I’ve lived in SS19/1 for 23 years and it is always nice to get back there and meet up with old friends. Today was the SS19/1 Community Carnival and we were invited by the committee to open a booth.
CP, Mary and I set up the booth at about 8.15am. Most of the booths were already up by then.
Guess we are all earlybirds!
As luck would have it, we managed to shift to the sitting area and so, we had a whole tent to ourselves.

Second Chance held an adoption drive at IOI Mall today.Early morning, transporters of second chance gather at the shelter....... there are 20 puppies that second chance brought to the adoption drive today...When the volunteers reached IOI Mall.. , they need to clean them before send them to 1st floor (new wing) where second chance have their adoption drive there.. Uhmmm wonder what are they doing the night before adoption drive @ IOI Mall...Check it out...Step 1: Load stuff from the car... Step 2: Aunty Kim is checking if there is anything that we miss out... Aunty kim : ok ... all settle is time for us to move to the adoption drive destination....LET'S GO...Step 3: Start to work ... setting up the banner, bunting & vinyl...
