Our friend from Ipoh, Ms Lee, informed us sometime last week that Kelly Tan who runs the Tanjong Rambutan shelter with Jacinta Emmanuel, has a backlog of many unpaid vet bills for her shelter dogs.
At the same time, Kelly is also feeding a few colonies of dogs at various places along the way from Ipoh to Tanjong Rambutan and this takes a toll on her dogfood supply and her finances.

Rescue Story of the Day: Our Animal Rescue officers rescued a cat that was stuck in a hole due to the area being full of soil and leafs. They had to forcefully dig an opening through the hardened soil and rescue the cat. The cat was in a healthy condition and no injuries were found.

Cute lil' BABETTE & ABBY CALICO for adoption.
Babette was rescued near shops with a bad diarrhea, now well recovered. Playful and active, with a pretty face.
Abby Calico was discovered loitering near a gumball dispenser machine. Very friendly with funny antics and a gentle heart.
