A Visitor…for Starry?? 24th Mar 2013, by AnimalCare
It’s all so coincidental, I was just telling my mother (who dropped in today with a batch of keychains) about Starry and Willy Orange, how they both appeared when a neighbour moved away. And how Willy had just “disappeared into thin air” after appearing with Starry for a few days.

Hey Timmy!
Timmy tries very hard to make friends with our cats.
Yesterday, there was a glimmer of hope of friendship taking place as Indy rolled over in response to Timmy’s cons...

It’s A Non-Venomous “wolf Snake” 23rd Mar 2013, by AnimalCare
Many, many thanks to everyone who is helping me identify the snake that the cats brought back.
My friend consulted a herpetologist who is doing her PhD and here is what she says:
The snake is Lycodon capucinus or wolf snake. Feed on geckos, small frogs and very common even inside offices if situated near jungles. This is a non-venomous snake.
I had a horrible day yesterday thinking it may be a cobra or later, a python (what if there are big ones around?), so worried for all the cats, inside and ...

Marathon Winner Chases Dogs Through Crumbling City 22nd Mar 2013, by The Great Animal Rescue Chase
Angie Heringer renews her soul in a pair of running shoes. The winner of many races and an Olympic marathon trials qualifier, Angie has long relied on the sport to care for her mind, body and spirit, but recently those runs have taken her through the burned-down, torn-down and abandoned houses in the struggling town of Hughes, Arkansas where hundreds of dogs take shelter under decaying porches, rusted out cars and even holes in the ground.
