Dolphin advocate Annika Park, a student at UWCSEA, recently did her part to help the dolphins being held captive at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS). Spaying Sponsorship For Another Female Dog (Low Hong Hang’s)

We have fully sponsored the spaying of another female dog from the construction site, brought in by Mr Low. This sponsorship is from our Medical Fund (RM100) and the balance of the bill is topped up by Andy Lew, Kok Khee Wee, Peggy Tiong and Martin Lui. On 3 March 2013 (Sunday), at about 2300hrs, we were alerted to the discovery of two cats' bodies at the back of a bus stop along Kallang Bahru Rd (shown in the picture). The bodies were found in a dog food bag. We are appealing to anyone with information on the case to come forward and assist us in our investigations. Yesterday, the SPCA reunited two owners on the same day with their dogs! One was a cocker spaniel and the other was a cross terrier. The importance of making sure your animal is micro- chipped will aid both you and the SPCA during instances where your pet is lost. We are extremely delighted that these two owners managed to get their doggies back to their home! Medical Subsidy For Injured Cat’s Surgery (Michelle Lee Soke Hui’s)

We received the following case recommended by the vet: Michelle Lee had rescued an injured cat with a bad leg. Initially the vet said the leg had to be amputated, but upon examination, an attempt was made to save the leg by doing an IM-pin insertion. The surgery was successful and the cat is recovering now, but would need 5 weeks’ cage rest for this purpose.
