Kimi’s Home!! (a Sharing By Koo)

As a pet owner, my two greatest nightmares would be (1) my pet has a life-threatening illness and there is no known treatment, and (2) my pet is lost.
Kimi was lost two weeks ago. She struggled out of her leash and ran off during a routine morning walk with her owner, Mr Lee. Efforts were made to locate her but she could not be found until…yesterday!

Karen Paolillo at Turgwe Hippo Trust is raising this young mongoose orphan. Karen is such a fine nanny to the wild things here in Zimbabwe and probably one of the few women in the world to have pet a wild wart hog or to touch a baby baboon in his mother's arms. Spay-Neuter Subsidy For 3 Cats (Pat Ong Swee Kim’s)

We have fully sponsored RM200 for the neutering of 2 male cats and subsidised RM100 for the spaying of 1 female cat, all of whom are managed by Pat Ong Swee Kim, a lady who sells “pau” (dumplings) in USJ16. We have verified all three cases with the vet and I have also personally spoken to Ms Ong. She seems very committed to taking care of the street cats around her neighbourhood.

Many of us get upset when we hear about pigeon culling. The good news is that we can all play a part in controlling and reducing the pigeon population naturally.

A Make-Over Look For Our Toy Poodle

This toy poodle was surrendered to us by his owner from Cheras who claimed she has no time for the dog anymore. We accept him into the shelter hoping can rehome him easily. He has been named Ironman . Ironman's fur was all matted and needed grooming. Our volunteer Mun Ee has done a good job trimming his fur on his first day at the shelter.
