Mars looks like a movie star in our opinion! His fur seems dull here, but that's only because he's been neglected and hasn't received the grooming and care he deserves. Rescue Story of the Day! Our Animal Rescue Officers managed to save a cross-breed stray dog that fell in a 2-meter manhole along Tuas West Road. The animal was not injured and has been brought back to safety!

This puppy is looking for a fosterer/adopter. Rescuer is currently boarding her at the vet clinic as he cannot find anyone to give this sweetheart a permanent home and putting her back on the streets is definitely too risky. Please help us find our poor 10 month old Mongrel doggy, Walker. Our active little boy slipped out of his collar on 14 March 2013 around Yio Chu Kang Road, Cactus Road area and despite all our efforts, we have not been able to find him. We adopted him from the streets through stray rescuers last year when he was just a little puppy. We miss him dearly and have been searching tirelessly for him the past 2.5 weeks.

Rocky has been saved by Chris out from the pound...Anyone able to help adopt him? He is one nice dog with a limping leg due to old injuries. We do not hope to put him back on the streets due to his condition and definitely would not want to risk him being caught by the local council again. Updates:
Megan's wounds need to be attended daily to ensure that it stays clean. Her condition is reportedly stable with good appetite.
Vet estimate that she will need at least 3 weeks to be fully recovered and her weekly estimate inclusive of daily bandage and medication are approximately RM300/week.

Poor Indy…

Indy had been quite unhappy all day ever since we “tore down” his launching pad this morning. I don’t blame him. Just as he had found something so exciting and adventurous, we had to curb and literally destroy his newfound hobby, ambition and achievement. That would be quite a blow on any teenager…like Indy.
I hope we can somehow make it up to him…
Hopefully he finds something new to do, something that won’t endanger his life.

Another RM300 Subsidy For Michelle Lee Soke Hui’s Rescued Cat

We just published updates (above) on Michelle Lee’s rescued cat who had undergone IM-pin insertion to correct a fractured leg. Angel Inc has very graciously offered to subsidise another RM300 to help Michelle settle the bill.
To date, our subsidy stands at:
AnimalCare Medical Fund: RM500
Julia & Friends: RM200
Angel Inc: RM300
Total: RM1000

Medical Subsidy For Hope, Dog With Injured Testicle (Eng Geok Bee’s)

Mdm Eng Geok Bee feeds the stray dogs in the Semenyih and Broga area. Recently, she rescued this dog with an injured testicle and the bill is RM690 for the scrotum removal surgery, medication, vaccination and required hospitalisation. We have subsidised RM345 for this case from our Medical Fund (50% of the bill) and Ti-Ratana Penchala Community Centre has subsidised RM100, making it a total subsidy of RM445 for the dog.
