We published this Persian-like cat (named Milo) for adoption yesterday. Peggy Quah was helping her friend get the cat adopted as the friend has some medical problems related to an allergy to cat. One of our readers, Masni, responded.

Medical And Rescue Help Needed For Stray Dogs In Selayang (Vedrana Lukacevic’s)

Updates on 12th May at 12noon: A friend phoned Vedrana to offer help to catch the dogs, but Vedrana could not be reached. “Mei Han” also has not contacted us for the medical subsidy.

Almost 2 years ago we met this stump tailed macaque in Laos and promised her a better life. It has taken years of work, tears and sweat but we finally delivered on our promise. This week, for the first time, she felt what it was like to touch grass and see the sky. She unfortunately can’t be released into the wild yet, but at least she and her 3 friends now have a much better life.

Timmy’s Merry-Go-Round!

Every morning and at all meal times, Timmy plays Merry-Go-Round in the patio.
It will start off this way where everyone has a bowl, yes, including our guest, Mr G!
Quickly, feed Willy-O!
He is usually either at the culvert outside or already under the car, so it doesn’t take long for him to come to the bowl.
Within minutes, Timmy would have finished his bowl so here’s where his Merry-G0-Round rides start.

A Lovely Story For The Weekend

My son, Jia-Wen, has to go through a base check every six months, as all pilots do. Yesterday was his base check and the instructor was a Brazilian captain. He is here with his wife, children and his dog.
