The terrapin nesting season in the Kemaman River this year began on the 7th February and ended on the 11th March 2013. Despite stretching for more than 30 days, nesting activities were significantly reduced (compared to last year) due to the tail-end of the monsoon experienced in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Rescue Story of the Day!
Yesterday, our Animal Rescue Officers (AROs) tackled a tricky case where a kitten was stuck deep between a wall and shutters at a coffee shop in Potong Pasir.
After some time, our AROs managed to get the kitten out of harm's way. We checked to ensure it was in the pink of health and was not hurt. The kitten is presently in quarantine at our shelter and will be up for adoption soon!

Indy’s New Mat

While Pole has this lovely pillow in the penthouse…
And Cleo takes the condo sometimes…
Indy has nothing….
Until….my husband came back with this new mat, bought specially for the cats.
Indy claimed it quickly!
And on that first day, slept for no less than 6 hours on it.
In the entire 6 hours, he fidgeted about the mat, but he did not leave it at all.
Indy loved the mat to bits!
On the next day, Indy shared it with Bunny.

Well, it all depends on Vincent’s moods.
If Vincent feels benevolent and charitable, he actually allows Willy-O to stay around.
See? Not too close for comfort.
Timmy is, as always, ever so happy, and he doesn’t mind anyone sharing anything as long as he gets to eat, and to polish up all unfinished food.
