From fostering to a forever home. Today, the Tan Family has opened their doors with arms wide open to Saviour, their amazing little doggy.
Saviour was found at a construction site along Tampines, and the SPCA brought it back to our premises to care for it and also help this pup find good owners. This little sweetheart is a two-legged dog, as it was born this way. Nonetheless, he is a very happy and loving dog who does not hold back on his affection towards people.

Amy Kwek, our reader, helps her neighbour, Aznah bt Gulam Mydin, with her rescue work as Aznah is not IT-illiterate and has no computer. Aznah takes on odd jobs to make a living, but she looks after about 20 cats in her neighbourhood. The cats are neutered, medically treated when sick and she feeds them daily.
We have fully sponsored RM120 for this case. This sponsorship comes from all donors through our Medical Fund (RM30) and Berjaya Cares (RM30) and the extra RM60 is from Ti-Ratana Penchala.

India Bans Dolphin Performing Dolphin Shows
There will be no more dolphin shows in India thanks to a new ruling by India's Ministry of Environments and Forests which will no longer condone the behind-the-scenes cruelty that goes into 'training' dolphins to perform.

Medical Subsidy For 3 Distemper Puppies From Seremban (Yap Mei Han’s)

We have subsidised RM157.50 for this case, which is 50% of the total bill of RM315. This subsidy comes from all donors through our Medical Fund (RM79.50) and Berjaya Cares (RM78).
We have called up the vet to verify this case. Two of the puppies passed on and only one survived. But the good news is, this surviving puppy has now been adopted (please see below).

We have subsidised RM462.50 for this parvo puppy, Terri’s, treatment. Terri was rescued by Lester Hiew (a student) and his mother, Jenny Khong Chin Chin (a homemaker).
The total bill for Terri is RM525. This subsidy comes from all donors through our Medical Fund (RM131.50) and Berjaya Cares (RM131) which makes up 50% of the bill, and the extra funds come from Kok Khee Wee (RM100) and Ti-Ratana Penchala (RM100).
