Chris spotted a broken back dog dragging her hind legs to move around at Raja Uda today. He jumped into her rescue immediately (though the dog was quite aggressive) and sent her to the vet clinic for treatments. Her hind legs were badly injured due to the excessive dragging. We are appealing to the Public to help find her a shelter/home as her condition is longer suitable to be released back on the streets. Don't get a pet "for a birthday present" or "just because my kids wants it", because keeping a pet needs prior planning, preparing & life-time commitment!

The Task Of Feeding Willy

I was a little late this morning and the morning started with Mr Zurik and Vincent locking horns at the patio. But I managed to quickly defuse the situation and everyone was happily eating within minutes.
Then I went outside to look for Willy.
Husband was at the playgound doing his taiqi and he indicated that Mr Zurik had come and Willy had fled.
Poor Willy…

Carlos the Cuban slider was found at a residential area with horrific injuries. He had multiple fractures on the carapace.
Cuban sliders are native to Cuba. Carlos is a victim of the illegal wildlife trade. He was probably abandoned and sustained injuries due to a fall as he tried to find his way around. The ACRES wildlife rescue team was called in to rescue Carlos.

The morning started with Mr Zurik and Vincent locking horns at the patio and the rest looking on. I had to break them up by offerings of food to all parties.
Daffodil finished her meal quickly and went into the house for safety.
