Medical And Neutering Subsidies/sponsorship For 5 TNRM Cats (Koo Swee Por’s) 6th Aug 2013, by AnimalCare
We have subsidised/sponsored the following:
Ginger – RM201 for his Cryptorchidism neutering (which required more extensive surgery). Mr Kok Khee Wee topped up the balance of another RM201, making it a total sponsorship of RM402. Koo paid for the RM50 boarding.
Nuar – RM23 for vaccination and deworming.
Borg – RM24.90 for vaccination and Metronidazole (antibiotics).
Ora – RM60 for neutering (full sponsorship).
Boy – RM60 for neutering (full sponsorship).

STAY AWAY FROM BACKYARD BREEDERS: They are irresponsible breeding of animals and only do it for the money. Dogs and cats are forced to reproduce non-stop in dirty and filthy conditions with bad health until they die. Many still exists in Malaysia, and can even be your next door neighbour.
Some Characteristics of Backyard Breeders:
1. Reluctant to show potential customers the entire premises on which animals are being bred and kept.
2. Don't ask a lot of questions of potential buyers.

Adoption Spotlight: Jenga.
This lovely 8 year old girl looks like she's been through quite a bit. We found her wandering on the streets, and she came to us with a cataract in one eye and prominent teats. She may have been used as a breeding dog, and we think she deserves so much more than that. She may not be a young pup, but Jenga is certainly no less awesome or wonderful. This is Ponggol. Adopted from our shelter a year ago, Ponggol is doing well and being loved by his family. This boy took a while to settle into his new home, but he's now enjoying his life with his family members and couldn't be happier. Spaying Subsidy For 3 Female Dogs In Kluang, Johor (Tan Mei Lian’s) 5th Aug 2013, by AnimalCare
We have subsidised RM450 for the spaying of 3 female dogs rescued by Tan Mei Lian. This subsidy comes from all donors through our Medical Fund (RM150) and Berjaya Cares (RM300).
Tan Mei Lian feeds about 50 stray dogs and puppies in Kluang, Johor. She is currently trying to get as many as possible neutered and vaccinated (there is a parvovirus outbreak in her area). We have pledged to help her with our Medical Fund.
