Vaccination And Medical Subsidy For 2 Male Cats, Happy & Tuah (Rolida @ Intan Shahar’s)

We have subsidised RM44 for the two vaccinations and deworming for Happy & Tuah. This subsidy comes from all donors through our Medical Fund (RM14) and Berjaya Cares (RM30). Happy & Tuah have both been adopted, together!

Medical Subsidy For Mitz Pots (now RIP) (Rolida @ Intan Shahar’s)

We have subsdised RM372.75 for the medical treatment for Mitz Pots. This subsidy comes from all donors through our Medical Fund (RM172.75) and Berjaya Cares (RM200).
There were two bills for Mitz Pots, one was RM848.50 and an earlier one was RM39. Of this amount, we did not subsidise the Advocate (RM22) and 6 days’ boarding (RM120), but we subsidised the hospitalisation (RM281.50).
We wish Mitz Pots a happy life in her new existence now.

You guessed right. There's not really a "sale" but sometimes a sense of humor helps. We are indeed suffering from an 85% drop in donations during the month of July.
Summer does bring us so many blessings, but it's a bit of a tough time to raise funds. We haven't been able to respond to as many pleas for help as normal, but tonight, we took a little leap of faith and sent a small donation to Romania to feed these dogs.
Here's hoping that August...

This morning, I was actually very worried as Mr Zurik had not come for breakfast at all. That was most unlike him. I was worried that maybe, just maybe, he was having a fever as a result of the vaccination. The vet had assured me that the likelihood of that happening was very slim. In fact, the vet was more worried about Mr Zurik getting caught in the rain and the Advocate spot-on would have been washed away and hence, wasted. Rain? No rain these days. Hug was found alone in a small cage outside a mechanic's shop. Thankfully, a kind traveler came across Hug and negotiated his release. Then began his long journey by boat and bus, crossing two provinces to arrive at ACRES Lao PDR. Today, he's found a new family in a group of fellow macaques. And a new home.
